Petyo Ivanov has been appointed as the executive director of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant - New Measures PLC.

By decision of „Kozloduy NPP“ EAD, Petyo Ivanov has been appointed as Executive Director of „Kozloduy NPP – New Capacities“ EAD. He takes office from 12 January 2024. 

Ivanov possesses many years of professional experience in the energy sector, having held a number of management positions at key energy companies in Bulgaria over the years. In the period February 2016 – July 2019, he was the executive director of Bulgarian Energy Holding, and prior to that, he managed the activities of Bulgargaz.

In 2017, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant EAD. He has participated in the management of ICGB JSC and ContourGlobal Operations Bulgaria. He has significant experience in structuring and securing financing for Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD and its subsidiaries.

Between 2021 and 2023, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange EAD. His professional career also includes expert experience in finance and accounting, including as Head of Financial Controlling and Chief Accountant at National Electricity Company EAD.

Mr. Ivanov holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Control from the University of Economics - Varna and a Master's degree in the same speciality from Veliko Tarnovo University „St. Cyril and Methodius“. He has acquired additional competencies in the field of energy product trading from the European Energy Exchange.
