„Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant - New Capacities has signed a cooperation agreement with N.Y. Vaptsarov Vocational School“
„Kozloduy NPP - New Capacities has taken another important step towards building the future of Bulgarian energy with an investment in its most valuable resource: young people.
An agreement for cooperation was signed in the town of Vratsa between the company and „Nikola Yonkov Vaptsarov“ Professional Technical High School. The document was officially signed by Bogdan Dimitrov – Deputy Executive Director of „Kozloduy NPP – New Capacities“ and Irma Emilyanova – Director of the high school.
The partnership is aimed at supporting vocational education and the development of future engineers and specialists, whom Bulgaria will increasingly need in the coming decades.
From the 2026-2027 academic year, the company will provide scholarships to students in grades VIII to XII with very good and excellent academic results from the following specialities:
- „Electrical Equipment for Production“
- „Digitally Controlled Machines and Systems“
The main aim of the initiative is to encourage early career guidance for young people towards engineering and technical specialities at universities in Bulgaria, stimulating them with the prospect that knowledge, talent, and hard work have real development opportunities in our country.
With this partnership, „Kozloduy NPP – New Capacities“ once again reaffirms its long-term commitment not only to the development of nuclear energy but also to the training of a new generation of highly qualified Bulgarian specialists.
