Information message

In June 2023, the execution of the contract signed on March 29 of this year by Kozloduy NPP - New Builds EAD with Westinghouse Energy Systems LLC Bulgarian Branch commenced for the provision of Front End Engineering and Design work.

Under the terms of the contract, Westinghouse Energy Systems LLC – Bulgaria Branch is obliged to provide Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant – New Capacities EAD with a package of services to assist in the realisation of a new nuclear power plant project, based on AP1000 technology, on the territory of the Kozloduy NPP site.

The results of the services provided will be used for the preparation of upcoming preliminary design and construction activities for the future nuclear facility.

„Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant – New Capacities EAD marked an important milestone in the implementation of the project for the construction of Units 7 and 8 with the signing of an engineering and consulting services contract with a consortium of leading international companies: Laurentis Energy Partners, BWXT Canada Ltd., and Canadian Nuclear Partners.
