In implementation of Art. 95, para. 3 of the Environmental Protection Act (EPA) and in connection with Art. 10 of the Regulation on the terms and procedure for conducting an environmental impact assessment (EIA), "Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD publishes Terms of Reference for the scope and content of an EIA report for an investment proposal:

„Construction of Unit 8 of Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant.

Interested individuals, organizations and institutions may review the prepared terms of reference and submit their written opinions and suggestions regarding the content and scope of the assessment. The opinions received will be taken into account in the preparation of the EIA report.

The assignment is available for download at the following Link. The deadline for submitting written opinions is 15.09.2025. Opinions can be submitted to the email address: newbuild@npp-nb.bg or at the address: Kozloduy town, Kozloduy municipality, Vratsa region, 1 A Panayot Hitov Str., PO Box 3320
