Application for site selection of a new nuclear facility

On 18.02.2025, „Kozloduy NPP - New Power Plants“ EAD submitted an application for a permit to determine the location of a nuclear facility (Unit 8). All required documents have been attached to the application, which will be subject to review and assessment for compliance with the requirements of the Act on the Safe Use of Nuclear Energy and the regulations for its implementation. The submitted application is the first step in the overall licensing process for the new nuclear facility, with a series of activities to be carried out by the Company to ensure it.
