„Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant – New Facilities EAD has signed a legal cooperation agreement with the American law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman

„Kozloduy NPP - New Builds“ EAD has taken a significant new step towards the successful realisation of the project to build the 7th and 8th units at the „Kozloduy NPP“ site. At an official ceremony in Washington, a Contract was signed between the Executive Director of „Kozloduy NPP - New Builds“ Petyo Ivanov and Vince Zabelski - a partner at Pillsbury.

Pillsbury is an international law firm with over 50 years of experience in the nuclear energy sector. Traditionally, their clients have been contractors for new nuclear projects worldwide. The firm's portfolio includes comprehensive legal services for some of the most successful new build projects in recent years, such as Barakah in the United Arab Emirates and Akkuyu in Turkey. Pillsbury possesses extensive and valuable experience in all areas of a nuclear power plant's lifecycle, with key professional competencies in the preparation of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, financing, and licensing for new nuclear power plants.

The international legal consultant will work closely with a Bulgarian law firm to cover all aspects of comprehensive legal services for the construction of the nuclear power plant at Kozloduy NPP.
