Decision on the preparation of a Detailed Development Plan
Today, August 13, 2019, at a regular meeting, the Kozloduy Municipal Council made a unanimous decision authorizing the development of a Detailed Development Plan - Regulation and Development Plan for the construction of a new nuclear power plant at the Kozloduy NPP site at the request of the interested party "Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD.
In accordance with the rules of procedure of the Municipal Council of Kozloduy, mandatory preliminary meetings of the standing committees on territorial development, construction and housing policy and on legality, legality of the acts of the municipal council and the municipal administration, observance of public order and traffic safety were held at the Kozloduy Municipal Council, where the regularity and legality of the documents submitted by the interested party were monitored.
Given the nature of the investment proposal for the construction of a new nuclear power plant on the territory of Kozloduy Municipality, with this act, the Kozloduy Municipal Council once again supported the development of energy as a major industry in the region and proved its commitment and responsible attitude to its economic progress.
