CONGRATULATORY ADDRESS on the occasion of the renewal of the operating license for Unit 5

For us, the company team, it is a great pleasure to congratulate the management and staff of Kozloduy NPP EAD on the successful extension of the operating life of the V-th power unit of the only Bulgarian nuclear power plant. For 40 years, the Republic of Bulgaria has been a member of the elite club of countries using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Throughout this period, Kozloduy NPP EAD has not only provided clean, affordable and reliable energy for Bulgarian citizens and businesses, but has also managed to become an internationally recognized example of a nuclear power plant with excellent indicators in the field of nuclear safety and the implementation of international standards and good practices. Last but not least, Kozloduy NPP EAD has managed to create and develop extremely capable specialists in the field of nuclear energy, which is of crucial importance for the safe and effective functioning of Parva Atomna.

Dear colleagues,

We sincerely wish you that in the coming years you will not only be able to maintain your previous achievements, but also to achieve the same success with the 6th power unit, as well as to actively participate in the construction of new nuclear capacity at the Kozloduy NPP.

We also wish you success in the difficult task of preserving, maintaining and deepening the knowledge of the new generation of nuclear engineers and power engineers.
