New youth project „Young specialists are working for the future of nuclear energy in Bulgaria“

On November 3, a new youth project "Young specialists work for the future of nuclear energy in Bulgaria" will be launched at the Technical University - Sofia, which includes the joint development of an applied engineering task. Students will work in a team, and at the end of the project they will have to present the results of their work. The project is aimed at students studying in the bachelor's course "Thermal Power Engineering and Nuclear Power Engineering" and the master's course "Nuclear Power Engineering" in the academic year 2017/2018. The goal of the task is to increase and deepen the specific knowledge of the students and to give them a better overview of the nuclear equipment market. The task itself aims to compare the technical and economic indicators when operating a nuclear island with one or two turbine units.

Additional information about the task and an application for participation can be found at e-mail: filipov@tu-sofia.bg
