Congratulations address

DEAR COLLEAGUES,

On May 9, 2019, we celebrate 7 years since the establishment of the project company "Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD. During this time, much has been accomplished by both the management and employees of the Company, as well as by all other working teams involved in the implementation of the project for the construction of a new nuclear power plant at the Kozloduy NPP site. Important steps have been taken towards achieving the main goal set for the Company. This year, the EIA of the selected site for the construction of a new nuclear power plant at the Kozloduy NPP was finally confirmed. This achievement once again proved the good faith and high professionalism of those involved in the project, as well as put the idea of building a seventh power unit at a conceptually higher level.

When we take stock of what has been achieved, we look ahead, with the clear awareness that there are still challenges ahead, to overcome which we must find strength and inspiration every day. The coincidence of the anniversary of the establishment of the Company with the celebrations of Europe Day is a wonderful occasion for this. The spirit of this day, dedicated to peace and unity in Europe, is a source of optimism and faith that it is with unity and diligence that all the tasks facing "Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD can be successfully solved in the name of a more secure energy future, in which Bulgarian nuclear low-emission energy will continue to be an important part of the Bulgarian energy mix in accordance with the European policy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

On my own behalf and on behalf of the Company's team, I congratulate you on the 7th anniversary of the establishment of "Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD and on the celebration of Europe Day.
