„Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant – New Builds EAD presenting within the framework of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU

Kozloduy is one of the seven cities in Bulgaria hosting official events as part of the Bulgarian EU Presidency. On June 19, 2018, Kozloduy NPP hosted an external meeting of the Council of Europe Working Group* on Nuclear Issues.

Joint seminar of New Energies and the Bulgarian Nuclear Society

In the period May 11-13, 2018, a joint seminar was held at Park Hotel Asarel, Panagyurishte, between "Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD and the Youth Association of the Bulgarian Nuclear Company.

BEMF presented its vision for new capacities at Kozloduy NPP.

On 20.02. 2018, within the framework of a one-day National Discussion Forum - public discussion on the topic "The Construction of the Belene NPP - feasibility, alternatives, economic models", organized by the Bulgarian Energy and Mining Forum, Dr. Ivan Hinovski presented his view on the project for a NEW NUCLEAR POWER PLANT AT KOZLODUY NPP - "Preliminary assessment of the advantages, risks and opportunities for implementation".

The Ministry of Environment and Water approves the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for a new nuclear power unit in Kozloduy

Based on the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIA) on 27.01.2015, a positive decision on the EIA was made by the Minister of Environment and Water.
