„Kozloduy NPP – New Capacities presented a report on the Convention on Nuclear Safety
"Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD prepared and provided the Nuclear Regulatory Agency with information regarding the preparation of the Eighth National Report of the Republic of Bulgaria under the Convention on Nuclear Safety, within the framework of its competencies.
We remind you that at the moment the project is in the final stage of the pre-design phase according to the Project Plan, namely - issuing an order for approval of the selected site, as the documents for the same have been reviewed and no notes have been found that would prevent its issuance.
At the end of 2018, in accordance with Regulation 2067/2016 of the European Union, a revaluation of the Company's assets was prepared, demonstrating the sound financial management of the capital funds and strict compliance with the principles of good corporate governance of the project company. A decision of the second-instance panel of the Supreme Administrative Court is expected, related to the case against the Decision of the Minister of Environment and Water, which approved the investment proposal for the construction of a new nuclear capacity at the Kozloduy NPP site.
