„Kozloduy NPP – New Build supports the training of nuclear specialists

„Kozloduy NPP – New Capacities participated in the opening of the academic year for the third cohort of the Master's programme in Nuclear Technologies, Management, and Innovations at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski„.

The event was attended by the company's Deputy Executive Director, Bogdan Dimitrov, who supports the initiative to train a new generation of highly qualified specialists in the sector.

„Talent is hard to come by, but academic education is at its core. We in the industry are all waiting for you,“ he emphasised.

The programme, created jointly by the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“, is accredited according to the model of the International Atomic Energy Agency – International Nuclear Management Academy (INMA) and plays a key role in building expertise in nuclear energy.

For the first time, the programme is also welcoming international students – a sign of its growing interest and firm establishment at a regional level.

We are delighted to see more and more young people choosing to develop their careers in this strategic field. We also express our gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev for his active role and contribution to the development of educational programmes and specialities that train personnel for the energy sector.
