The two sides discussed the prospects for nuclear projects in the context of the intensifying European focus on energy security, industrial competitiveness, and decarbonisation.
During the meeting, it was noted that the development of nuclear energy is increasingly and clearly establishing itself as a key element of the European vision for a secure, sustainable and low-carbon energy sector.
During the conversation, the preparation for the European Union's next programming period was also discussed, noting that new financial instruments should encourage investment in strategic energy projects with high added value for the European economy and industry.
