Lead Expert Project Report

For the position

"Kozloduy NPP - New Build" EAD We are a project company owned by „Kozloduy NPP“ EAD. Our mission is to implement and complete a project for the commissioning of two new nuclear power units for the production of electrical and thermal energy at the site of the existing nuclear power plant in Kozloduy.

„Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant – New Capacities EAD manages the entire process of pre-project studies, design, construction, and commissioning of the latest generation (III or III+) pressurized water reactor (PWR) AP1000 technology.

Our team is expanding its capacity and is looking for a motivated Lead Project Reporting Expert„ Lead Scheduler to the „Project Planning, Reporting and Infrastructure Permits“ department, Directorate „Project Management“, to assist with the processes of planning, reporting and coordination of implementation schedules for strategic new capacity projects. The position is suitable for experienced experts and specialists who wish to build on and further develop their project management skills, as well as gain valuable practical experience.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Scheduler with proven practical experience in the development, integration, analysis, and control of complex project schedules for large-scale industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects. The position requires in-depth knowledge of Primavera P6, strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate schedules between internal teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders, based in our Sofia office.

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparation, updating, and tracking of integrated project schedules across all phases of new capacity project development.
  • Coordinating and organising the team's work and liaising with other project participants and stakeholders.
  • Risk and deviation analysis and optimisation proposals.
  • Attending regular and ad-hoc meetings between the team, other project participants and stakeholders.
  • Collecting and processing project progress data, its coordination, and reporting.
  • Control over the execution of key activities and adherence to deadlines by the team and the respective responsible individuals.
  • Preparation of references, reports and analyses.
  • Presentation preparation.
  • Develops, maintains, and updates the integrated master schedule of the project in Primavera P6.
  • Reviews and analyses schedules provided by contractors and counterparties, including logic, sequencing, critical path, constraints, and assumptions.
  • Identifies deviations, delays, interface dependencies and proposes measures for schedule recovery.
  • It provides consolidation of schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, licensing, and commissioning.
  • Prepares analyses, scenarios, forecasts, graphical reports and management reports on project progress.
  • Participates in meetings with contractors, consultants and stakeholders on issues relating to schedule and progress.
  • Supports the introduction and maintenance of standards for project planning, coding, and reporting.

 

Candidate requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Economics, Architecture and Construction, or another relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the energy sector, in project development, or in civil engineering.
  • Good analytical and organisational skills, attention to detail.
  • Soft skills, teamwork, and initiative.
  • Skills in sourcing, processing, and analysing information.
  • A desire for development in the field of project management and personal qualification enhancement.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in project planning and control on large-scale industrial, energy, infrastructure or EPC projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with Primavera P6.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing integrated project schedules.
  • Experience in critical path analysis, deviations, delays, forecasts, and recovery plans.
  • Experience working with multiple project stakeholders – client, contractors, designers, consultants and other interested parties.
  • Experience in nuclear, energy, or other high-risk complex projects is an advantage.
  • Very good working level of English.
  • Excellent command of MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Advantage Certifications related to project controls / scheduling / Primavera P6.
