“Kozloduy NPP-New Build” EAD is a project-based company, owned by „Kozloduy NPP“ EAD. Our mission is to implement and complete a project for the commissioning of two new nuclear power units to produce electricity and heat at the site of the existing nuclear power plant in Kozloduy.
“Kozloduy NPP-New Build” EAD is managing the entire process of feasibility study, design, construction and commissioning of the latest generation (III or III+) AP1000 light water pressurized water reactor (PWR) technology.
Concerning the active phase of the project, we are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Financial controller in the “Financial Control Department” of our Sofia office.

Main responsibilities:
- Carry out preliminary control activities on processes related to the awarding of orders and the accompanying documents before assuming financial obligations.
- Perform preliminary legality control in connection with making payments for undertaken financial obligations.
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding the fulfillment of their official duties.
- Participate, when necessary, in the development of instructions and methodological guidelines related to the activities of the Financial Control department.
We are looking for someone who has:
- University degree in business administration, law, economics, finance, accounting or a related field. Professional financial certification will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar financial role.
- Very good IFRS knowledge and Bulgarian tax legislation with application experience, and advance Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude, good analytical and problem- solving skills.
- Team- oriented mindset with initiative, time management skills and a high level of integrity.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both creative and corporate teams.
- Good command of English.
